Since started building our channel in January 2018, we’ve worked with Canadian brands such as Aleva Naturals, Dimpleskins Naturals, Royal Harvest (Shape), Sudocrem. We’ve primarily dived into a market development period exclusively for Aleva Naturals, since the brand best represents what Canadian products are about – honesty, quality, reliable & safe. Although there weren’t much buzz about these products (and Canadian brands in general) in the Chinese market, that wasn’t going to stop us from establishing them.

Over the course of our ventures, we started a small, highly motivated team of 12 people for the entire campaign located in Suzhou, China. We are a part of an logistics enterprise – Lude Enterprise – in China and have established all the major infrastructures needed to bring a brand in and establish stable sales. This includes logistics, warehousing, supply chain management, campaign management and most importantly our sales team.

In terms of channels, we are currently working with Alibaba on their Tmall platform, Netease on their Kaola platform, Xiaohongshu on their RED platform as well as selling to their platform owned stores. We’re also in process of launching our channel online towards the JD platform. In terms of B2B, we are currently working with various distributors and distributing platform such as Yunji Inc. (public cross-border platform), Beijing Yishang Group (government owned corp that represents some international brands under P&G such as Pantene, Herbal Essence, Olay, etc.).
